Chassis Setup Guidelines
Chassis Setup
Setting up the chassis involves configuring blueprints for wheels, controllers, and animations to ensure correct vehicle movement and behavior.
Start with existing blueprints from analogous tanks to streamline setup.
Figure 1: Creating Blueprints
Adjust wheel blueprints to define the wheel radius which is crucial for maintaining the correct distance from the wheel's center to the ground.

In the controller blueprint, ensure the skeletal mesh and animation blueprints are correctly associated for proper vehicle articulation.

Correct bone designation is essential for scripts to function accurately—sequence bones from front to rear and right to left.
Configure wheel components within the "Vehicle Movement Component" and specify the wheel's corresponding bones.
